JULY

July continues the most exciting event of the African scuba diving calendar year, the Sardine Run, when billions of the silvery fish rush past the eastern coast of South Africa, triggering a mass feeding frenzy.
The Sardine Run, South Africa, occurs in Kwazulu Natal province, and divers can witness one of the largest shifts of biomass in the world, as currents push billions of sardines on their annual migration near the rugged coast where sharks, dolphins, seabirds and more feed off the rich pickings.
