FEBRUARY
This month sees the continuing presence of Manta Rays in Yap, and the Eastern Atolls of the Maldives, and the end of the season for Eagle Rays in Cozumel. A large number of Whale Shark encounters happen in the month of February, from Zanzibar to Thailand.
Whale Shark season continues, Christmas Island, starts in Thailand's Andaman Sea, and off the Indian Ocean island of Zanzibar, while the Whale Shark Season ends in Djibouti, East Africa.

Hammerhead season continues in southern Mozambique; with Hammerhead season ending at Rangiroa, Tahiti.
Zambezi Shark season continues in southern Mozambique, and this time of year, Hammerhead, Zambezi, Bull and Tiger Sharks visit Protea Banks, South Africa.
The Bull Sharks in the Cocos and Malpeno Islands continues to be seen through the end of April.
Green and Loggerhead turtle season continue in Ningaloo Reef, Western Australia.
with Loggerhead and Leatherback turtles laying eggs in Kwazulu Nata, South Africa.
Olive Ridley and Leatherback turtles start to be seen in Tamarindo Bay, Costa Rica, and Pacific Green Turtles have their peak season for nesting on the Galapagos Islands.
Pilot whales begin to be spotted off of the islands in Fiji; and the Humpback whale season continues in Hawaii; Whale Watching continues in Baja, with Humpback, Fin, Minke, Brydes, Pilot and Killer Whales (Orcas).
In the Caribbean, Humpback whales start their breeding season on Turks and Caicos islands; with Humpback migration continuing in Saba.
